Our precision CNC coiling solutions involve the use of computer-controlled coiling machines which wind ultra-fine wires around a mandrel. Extremely accurate controls, monitoring, and automation all ensure the highest degree of repeatability possible for your products. Even the smallest of miniature and micro springs are produced accurately and repeatably, regardless of run size.
Ultra-Fine Wire Compression Springs
HyTech manufactures miniature compression springs in various configurations with ultra-fine wire diameters ranging from 0.001” to 0.180”. In addition to precision coiling techniques, we utilize high-tech CNC grinding processes such as automated feeding to grinders, crush grinding and down-feed grinding. These advanced techniques allow us to produce ultra-fine wire compression springs in a variety of coiled shapes, including:

Ultra-Fine Wire Torsion Springs
In addition to coil springs, our primary product line includes precision-formed miniature torsion springs. Torsion spring coiling with ultra-fine wire is a highly sensitive process that involves winding wire around a mandrel under tension, creating coils with a helical shape.
Typically, with smaller coils and more complex helical shapes required, the production process becomes more difficult. However, HyTech’s unique CNC coiling process combined with our robust quality control system both ensure every torsion spring is formed to specification.
